Mrs. CW Rice,
mother of Mrs. W.S. Oppenheimer, died at the residence of her daughter, 320
Hyde Park Avenue, yesterday afternoon at 5 o’clock after an illness of six
weeks. Death resulted from Bright’s disease. Mrs. Rice was a native of
Russellville, Putnam County, Indiana. She died at the age of 54. The remains will be shipped by Undertake Reed
tonight over the Atlantic Coast Line, to the old home in Russellville, Indiana.
They will be escorted to the passenger station by pallbearers selected from the
K of P Lodges. – kbz
